Why are digitals important?

Polaroids, or digitals, are crucial tools for models, serving as their "visual business card." These unedited images are essential for agencies and clients to assess a model’s natural look without the distractions of heavy makeup or retouching.

Here’s why digitals matter:

  1. Authentic Representation: These photos provide a true, natural representation of the model’s appearance, ensuring agencies and clients see what they look like in real life. Professional digitals, taken with optimal lighting and clean backgrounds, give models an edge by emphasizing their natural beauty and versatility

  2. First Impressions: Digitals are often the first point of contact between models and agencies, and the quality of these images can significantly impact whether or not a model gets signed. DIY shots can work, but professionally done digitals enhance the model's presentation

  3. Industry Standard: Professionally taken digitals have become an industry standard. Models are often required to update these images regularly, especially when their appearance changes
